Horsemanship/trail riding clinic:

Deposit: $200.00 Due ASAP to hold your spot (non-refundable) Only taking 10-12 riders
Lunch: 12 to 1pm both days
About: Start with us in our outdoor arena and then go explore outside! Having trouble with crossing water? We have you covered. Lots of time to work on any issues with our 600 acre ranch with natural obstacles. Cross water, encounter birds, deer, brush, cows, and maybe even see a moose. Work on all the skills it takes to go on a nice trail ride with you and your horse. Space is limited. Pens are available for extra cost per day. Bring your own hay and water bucket. Ranch Roping clinic with cattle and hot heels
Date: August 6 and 7th 2022

Deposit of $250 (non-refundable) due ASAP to hold your spot and the rest being due at the time of the clinic.
Time: 9:00am to 4pm and Lunch from 12 to 1pm
About: This roping clinic is designed to refine and improve your rope skills for both horse and rider. We will work on proper positioning of the horse for certain shots. For this class we will be using the Hot Heels and on cattle. It is helpful to be able to handle a rope. Learn how to track, slip rope, head, and heel with different shots depending on cattle placement. Bring your own lunch. Price does not include board for your horse. Bring your own hay

Colt Starting Clinic 2022

Limited to 10 Riders
About: This is a colt starting or restart/problems horses. This is a class for young horses that may or may not have had been handled with qualified instruction. Instruction will be given starting with groundwork in preparation for the first ride. Halter work and saddling without stress for the horse and rider. The four day class is intended to help the rider stay safe at the end of the 4th day being aboard the horse and beginning work in the snaffle bit. Rider must be able to ride their own colt in this class. Bring your own lunch. Price does not include board for your horse. Bring your own hay.

About: The cow working clinic is for the rider that wishes to expose a green horse or an experienced horse to more cattle and different ways to work cattle. Tracking, sorting, and some cutting are worked on with the intent of introducing or refining your work with stock and moving towards more accurate horsemanship. Bring your own lunch. Price does not include board for your horse. Bring your own hay.

About: The cow working part on the clinic is for the rider that wishes to expose a green or experienced horse to more cattle and to practice good horsemanship. Tracking, sorting, and some cutting are worked on with the intent of introducing or refining your work with stock and moving towards more accurate horsemanship. The roping part on the clinic will be for riders that have some experience with a rope. We will be using a break-a-way and solid ropes on the live cattle and learning how to properly track, slip rope, head, and heel with different shots depending on cattle placement. Bring your own lunch!
